WHERE IS THE BROADBEACH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL HELD?

The Festival is held in the heart of the Broadbeach CBD, on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

CHAIR GUIDELINES

  • Yes you can bring your own portable chairs to the event. There are no specific rules as to what size the chairs need to be.
  • We ask that you do not leave your chairs unattended for safety reasons.
  • Do not block designated walkways or emergency access as signed.
  • We ask that you be respectful of those who have already placed chairs out prior to positioning your own.
  • Chairs are not to be used to stand on, if you are seen using your chair to stand on, you will be asked to sit down and if problems persist, your chair will be removed at the discretion of Festival staff.
  • Chairs, along with any personal belongings left with chairs, is done so at your own risk.

LOCATIONS

There will be designated chair zones at the Surf Parade Stage and the Big Top Stage, these areas will be marked out, please note, these may change each day

There will be chairs provided at the Broadbeach Mall Stage only, however these are limited, additional areas for chairs will be available, but we ask that you do not block of main walkways or emergency accesses .

CAN I BRING ALCOHOL TO BROADBEACH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL?

No. The Broadbeach Country Music Festival is an unlicensed event. The only place alcohol can be consumed is in the licensed venues.

WILL I BE ABLE TO BUY ALCOHOL AT BROADBEACH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL?

Only in licensed venues and this alcohol cannot be taken out of the licensed venues.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?

The Broadbeach Country Music Festival is situated in the heart of the Broadbeach CBD with plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, fast food and supermarkets to suit everyone’s taste buds.

DOES THE FESTIVAL ACCEPT FOOD VENDORS?

As our Festival operates in a fully functioning CBD precinct with a multitude of food types and options, we do not require any additional external catering, food and beverage stalls or vendors.

DOES THE FESTIVAL ACCEPT MARKET STALLS?

Due to the footprint required for the event infrastructure and patrons we are unable to offer any market stall areas throughout the event.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

Some venues may have age restrictions.

WILL THERE BE SAFETY AND SECURITY?

Yes

ARE YOU ABLE TO CAMP IN THE BROADBEACH AREA?

There are no camp grounds located within the Festival as the event is located in the heart of a CBD area where there are plenty of accommodations options (see above).  If you are looking for Gold Coast Camping Grounds go to the Visit Gold Coast website here for all the best options. DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND BROADBEACH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL?

No. You do not need a ticket to attend the festival, Broadbeach Country Music Festival is a free-to-attend event.

DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND ANY OF THE SHOWS BROADBEACH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL?

No. There are no tickets to any of the stages or venues at the Broadbeach Country Music Festival. We have a ‘first in best dressed’ policy.

ARE THERE SEATS AT ANY OF THE STAGES?

There are a small amount of seats available at the Broadbeach Mall Stage only, if seats are required you are more than welcome to bring your own. There are also seats available in most venues where artists are playing.

AM I ABLE TO BRING MY OWN CHAIR TO THE STAGES?

Yes feel free to bring your own chairs to any of the outdoor stages.  However as it enters later into the afternoon for headline performances people may be asked to move their seats away from the front of the stage due to capacity crowds.

HOW DO I GET IN TO THE FESTIVAL?

The festival is in the completely open CBD area of Broadbeach, with no fences around the area or stages.

ARE THERE ARTIST SIGNINGS?

Yes. ‘Onsite Retail’ sell artist CD’s as well as host artist signing after their shows. See the Site Map for the location.

ARE THERE PUBLIC TOILETS?

There are several public toilets located throughout the festival including in The Oasis Shopping Centre, Niecon Plaza and in venues.

IS THERE ANYTHING FOR KIDS TO DO?

Yes, Broadbeach Country Music Festival is a family-friendly music event for all ages but there is also carousel rides for children as well as art & craft markets on the Saturday and Sunday of the event.
