Spruce up your cowboy boots and round up your posse for the completely FREE Broadbeach Country Music Festival in July 28-30, 2017

Set next to the pristine beachfront of Queensland’s Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, the festival will see a perfect mix of board shorts and banjos, surf boards and steel guitars as country music’s finest assemble for three days and nights of incredible FREE entertainment.

The Broadbeach Country Music Festival is free to attend, so trade your swag for swagger, grab your Stetson and sun cream and mark this premier event in your calendar, book your accommodation now.

The Broadbeach Country Music Festival celebrated its inaugural year in June 2013 with 20,000 attending over the three days. In June 2015, the third annual Festival was held and in excess of 35,000 people boot scooted into Broadbeach for the event.

In 2016 due to the enormous growth of the Festival over a short period of time and a small team organising in addition to this Festival but also the  largest free music festival in Australia being the Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival, the Broadbeach CMF was moved to July 28-30, 2017. The Festival will now run each year in the last weekend in July.

What remains the genius of the Broadbeach Country Music Festival, and what sets it apart from a great range of other festivals is that the entire event is free. There are no charges, no booking fees and no tickets and the festival streets are “no drinking zones”.

Broadbeach Alliance (BAL) is a council body that promotes and manages the precinct of Broadbeach while working closely with local traders with the aim of providing economic benefit to the precinct. Broadbeach Alliance offers a range of marketing opportunities to all businesses within Broadbeach.

One of the responsibilities of BAL is to create and manage a calendar of free world class events for Broadbeach including but not limited to QPOW on Broadbeach, Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival, Broadbeach Jazz Weekend,  Opera in the Park and the Broadbeach Christmas Carols.

BAL also serves as representative for local traders to external bodies such as the City of Gold Coast.

Broadbeach Alliance is committed to hosting environmentally responsible events, as such we work very closely with event partners to plan and implement festivals which reflect green event best practices.
