Lachlan Bryan, with his band The Wildes, has emerged as a force in Australian country and alt-country music since releasing debut album Ballad of a Young Married Man in 2010.
Bryan has released four critically acclaimed records, played sold-out shows around the country, toured the USA four times and this year makes his European debut at The Maverick Festival and Beverley Folk Festival in the UK, as well as Bluesfest in Germany.
Lachlan and band won their first Golden Guitar for the album “Black Coffee”, which also won The Age Music Victoria Award for Best Country Album and peaked at #4 on the ARIA Country chart. Follow-up record “The Mountain”, released in 2015, also received Golden Guitar Nominations and led to Lachlan’s signing with US label Milo Records New Orleans.
In 2016 Lachlan toured the country with Henry Wagons, Shane Nicholson and Bill Chambers – and 2017 started with two sold-out headline shows at The Tamworth Country Music Festival. This year will see the release of a new record and a national theatre tour beginning in May.
